This project was inspired by Galileo Galilei, when in January of 1610 he explored the night sky with a home made telescope
and observed small objects orbiting another planet. Galileo’s discovery changed the way we perceive ourselves
in relation to the universe and we were moved to reconsider our place at the center of things.
The Human race has been looking at the night sky for all of its existance to help us find our location on our own planet
but today we more often tilt our heads down toward our technology to tell us where we are.
Perhaps by not being so aware of the night sky we have lost a certain sense of our place in the Universe.
